Hi Michael! I think you're on track to achieve your goals, this was already a cool piece. What I did here quickly is adjust some of the colours. The green magic is glowing, that means it'll have a lot of diffuse light lighting the wizard and so things like the palm of the hand can be simplified more. Instead of adding highlights to the different digits seperately and creating deep folds in the palm, try to keep that surface more as a whole. There won't be that much ambient occlusion in the folds with this light setup. I'd also encourage you to try and design the green whisps further, as it's a fun visual element to play around with and this could help solve the "flow" you said you were lacking. As a last thing I moved him and the cauldron more towards the middle of the image for general symmetry, slightly enlarging the cauldron as well as his body has to fit fully behind it and now he's got a bit more space to do so! | Artwod Feedback
