The drawing is looking very nice, clean delicate linework, looking forward to see the colored version!
Thank you so much! I cannot wait to color it in!
Hey, I could use some insight into this WIP Drawing of a DnD Character. A Female Aasimar Paladin whose Male lover's soul is inside the heart brooch on her chest, his hand caressing her face to comfort her in the moment. I want to capture the moment and the heartache in her emotions, but I'm also trying to improve the lighting and could use some insight. Thank you!

Hi, great drawing! Here is my overpaint and notes: I would make her stand in a heroic pose, hair blown with the wind, rather than lying down (if I read the sketch correctly) Her pendant in her palm, the ghost hand should be more masculine and she is making a contact with it, her fingers dips into a plasma, shw cries with both eyes open, looking proudly into what is in front of her, made the sword also visibel as part of her strot, but placed in a way that suggest that it is a secondary element. Part of her face is sunken into a ghost hand. The underlying idea is that she is entangled and living in her past and in the world of the dead rather than in her present. As for light and color I see this piece in pallete of Donato Giancola, or as the topic is symbolic Jacek Malczewski. Hope that will give you some ideas, keep up the good work!
Hi! Thank you so much for the input, especially about the ghostly hand and sword. I do like the pose I have her in, which is lying down, but I do like your suggestions concerning the ghostly hand of her lover, her sword being upright, and her own hands in those postures. I will change them to match your drawn suggestion. Thank you again!!
Sure thing, I am happy that I could help, no worries, follow your vision :)
