Ditto to the previous critic, it looks awesome and moody with the black background, but mostly I just want to say how much I love this one. The hatching is very even-handed, it follows the forms so well, the dragon is so cool and I adore "traditional" four-legged dragon designs (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ) My suggestion would be to (if you're interested in creature design in general, I didn't look at your other artworks) do studies of animals, and by studies I mean gesture drawings first, anatomy later (if you feel like it, and if you organically find blind spots). I myself recently went through that process and it helped out a ton. For a four-legged dragon I studied leopards, antelopes (BUT different antelopes have different horns, as in, within the same species, it really messed with me, so I would suggest tracking down a 3D model and drawing the horns in different angles), bats (flying foxes specifically), tigers, Komodo dragons and iguanas. Mostly I just wanted to share how excited I was to see a DRAGON on my Artwod feed (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ) I think it's a very creative approach to the prompt, thehatcing on clouds of smoke and the form of fire works, the poses of the small people are belivable and I just adore! this! dragon! He's so strong and handsome wittle baby reptile!!!
Lol thank you so much this is very helpful! I’ll definitely do that to get better at drawing critters and monsters! It def warms my heart to hear you enjoyed this :’) thank you
