maybe pick one of these three and reuse it every time instead of redrawing it fresh. the middle one reads best, just the bottom bit with a soft edge. the long side line is what flattens it for me, dropping that keeps the face the same

I keep trying to sketch anime faces and the nose comes out different every time. sometimes its too flat, sometimes it changes the whole face. I think my form and construction need work. I’m using pencil, any feedback would help

skin tone

I can't seem to get the skin tone right. I'd like to play around more with the shadows and highlights by mixing in a little more color—not just black and white—but I have no idea how to do that.
