Your eyes were well placed,I believe you simply made the face too long (I used to do this tons) remember most of the face is forehead and hairline depending on person ,I will say I accidentally stylozed my mini tutorial my bad but I do hope it someway helps with proptopns but remember ears end at the bottom of nose and start semi between the eye depending on style!
