so cute!! i thinking you can work on the form fundamentals antonio explain on his videos ^^ 1. breaking down your reference in simple form, for this character, her head is a sphere with a half sphere on top of it, her clothing collar is a small cylinder, while the body is kind of a cut off cone/tappered cylinder. the arms are manipulated cylinders in a way that make them look organic. For the feet they kinda look like they're being seem from the side, while her body is overall front facing, in my drawover i made her whole body face 3/4 2. proportions, gigi is overall 2 heads tall , similiar to a chibi, of course you can make her taller by making the head smaller, but if you're aiming for model similiarity you can check the references for proportions! 3. fill the wholedrawing in black with clipping mask to check their silhouette, making sure your pose is clear even without seeing the whole image, separating her arms from the body can help a ton making the pose clear! 4. make sure you are clear about the drawing idea in your poses, they can tell a story!! from your drawing it seems silly gigi is being hit with shrimpo's brick trinket, but the story doesn't seem clear on why's that, on the left i tried redrawing the overall idea based on ''gigi stole medkit from shrimpo'' to make the story clear ^^ you can also work on the shading in the future by making sure you have an clear direction the light is coming from, but overall i think you should work on your construction fundamentals first since they can help with shading aswell ^_^ i recommend proko's video on the 6 steps to draw anything (antonios method) to understand better about shape fundamentals artwod's ''character design techniques(...)'' video also has a part that explains about silhouettes , making the pose clear in the silhouette is important for easily reading a character design overall you're on a great path just need to work on overall construction and understanding of 3d space ^_^ love the gigi headcannons by the way! the socks and stickers are so cute! | Artwod Feedback
