First off, beautiful work on the form and the character! The reason so much of the form seems to have disappeared is that your lineart is all just one size for everything, which flattens everything into essentially one depth. If you want your drawings to have clearly defined lineart, those lines need to be as expressive as everything else, and they need to describe much more than just contours or silhouettes. That's where line weight comes in, and it's what I did around the face: areas of overlap and deep shadows all get thicker lines, the silhouette is also bolder while inside details are soft and faded. Don't be afraid to "fuse" together lineart and the deepest shadows!
