Hey there! Great job! The design looks amazing! I think you could push the lamp lighting a bit more to create stronger contrast. But before anything else, making the background slightly darker would help both the character and the lamp stand out much more. Notice that I painted the lamp using a cooler bluish tone, and I only added glow to the jellyfish since they’re the actual light source. In my opinion, it creates a much stronger result this way. Also, think about which parts of the character are closest to the lamp so you can light those areas more effectively. I removed the shadow projection you painted in the hair because I couldn’t fully understand where that shadow was being cast from. Now, since the lamp is using a cool color, I used warmer light on the character. This creates a more interesting warm vs cool contrast. Something that could also look really interesting would be making the lamp the primary light source while keeping most of the character in darker values, using only a subtle rim light to emphasize the silhouette. You could experiment with that approach and see how it turns out! Hope this helps!
