Hi this is my first post here. I made this character during a game jam. The concept originally was to create a bunch of characters that would be inspired by classic old horror movies, this one specifically is inspired Nosferatu from 1922. Me and my team had only 42 hours to finish our project so I had very limited time how much I could spend working on each concept (this one took me about 3 or 4 hours including the brainstorming and such). I really liked the concept and this specific character who also became sort of a symbol of this project. I’m somewhat proud of this concept but I would like to try and make it better. The original idea I received from others was he’s going to be a demon barber who’s somewhat connected to the main protagonist. My adaptation is he’s just a vampire, not a demon like the rest of the cast. He was a barber while still alive and isn’t capable to let go of his past life. He’s not entirely evil, rather morally grey/chaotic neutral who prefers to taunt the main character/player but also is capable of helping them when he knows he can receive something in return. In exchange he can offer money/recourses/information. I want to keep him charismatic without changing his facial features (including the original anatomy of Nosferatu ((long legs, weirdly positioned shoulders)) but I feel like he’s missing something and the color palette could be more engaging. Any feedback is welcome 🫶
I love this, great depiction of a vampire, mixed with clear function and backstory. If you feel something is missing, surley you could explore some more specific clothing, taking a reference from for example napolenon era, general insigne, adding shoes, will also help. Now he looks like a common NPC, expand his life story and show it in the outfit, make a interior for him too!
