Hello there! I'm not quite familiar with the grayscale-to-colour process; I prefer painting directly in colour and just checking my values as I go :p (something you didn't ask, lol). I think the value range looks good, but the colors do feel slightly dull. I increased the colour vibrancy using an Overlay layer; this let me add more brightness to the hair and some areas of the skin, like the face. I also painted some areas of ambient occlusion, such as underneath the arm and in some parts of the fur. When going from grayscale to color, you'll definitely need to make some color adjustments or continue painting over it so the colors don't look dull. :) On the other hand, I adjusted the composition a little. The character's elbow was almost touching the edge of the canvas, which created something close to a tangent, so I decided to give it a little more breathing room. :) Hope this helps!
