HI!! First proper upload here. I don't know what feels of with this. I mainly need advice with rendering but tbh some proportions are probably off too. The style is cartoonish on purpose but not really anime. Thanks!!

Hey there! I took Kidmoe overpaiting to paint the hair :D He did an amazing job with the skin colour and adding more volume to the character. You can focus mainly on improving the silhouette of the hair to make it more interesting. Maybe this wasn't the shape you originally intended, but personally, I really like how it looks this way. :) Once you have this base—the overall shape—you can paint the shadow shapes first, and then start adding the individual locks/strands of hair on top. This will help give the hair a more natural and believable flow, as well as a stronger sense of volume. :) I tried to maintain your same graphic style so it wouldn't end up looking too realistic (like I usually tend to paint, hehe), and instead keep it more stylized. Hope this helps!
Hey there, I had a go at this one. I tried to keep it graphic/cartoony. I think checking out some 'planes of the head' would help with your light decisions. Maybe remember that hair has volume and work some shape into its shadows? Very cute aesthetic well done. Keep up the good work.
