The combination of orange, marine and green is really pretty. The drawing is really cool design wise. The colors look dull because you are using white for highlights and simply darker orange for shadows. And yes, there is a problem with values. There are also some shadows missing. What you can try to do is using less saturated color for shadows and a bit dufferent hue and highly saturated for highlights - it really makes things pop. For overpaint: I upped saturation a bit, used dark red for shadows and orange/yellow for highlights. Added some shadows for accessories as well. Pearls have normally very smooth surface so they should reflect environment. I would start with a grey color and gradually add reflections and highlights to the pearls. Good luck! | Artwod Feedback
