I think you already got decent colors. What you need is to "kill your darlings". You love your line - which is absolutely fine but it prevents you from discarding parts of it or drawing over it to push the drawing further. You work with digital tools and can experiment more. The most noticeable for me is indeed background - do we as a viewer really need to see every detail of the building in BG? What is more important here? Character who kneels over the destroyed robot - so you need to emphasize the character, roboter and destruction. You can do it by using light and shadows (we always look at lightest and most detailed parts first) and bit of storytelling elements like fire, smoke and embers flying in the wind. Try to use strong lines of your lineart for heavy/grounded things and less of it for lighter elements like light, magic, energy, fire etc. Good luck! | Artwod Feedback
