Hello there! Great work so far! I really like the direction this is taking. Just a few points: Try to avoid using the same color for every material. At first glance, I didn’t even notice that the character had horns and feathers because everything was black. Using the same color throughout makes the design less interesting, and it's also worth remembering that 3D artists may eventually work from this design. For them, different materials must be clearly communicated. Because of that, I changed the horns to a bone-like color and the feathers to a purple tone. This immediately creates a clearer color hierarchy and makes the design feel more cohesive and visually interesting. I’m also not fully convinced by the way the rib accessory covers the chest—it feels a bit awkward. One idea would be to keep only the lower ribs, extend the sternum upward toward the neck, and then have additional ribs wrapping around the neck like a collar. I indicated the same idea in the back view so the design language feels more consistent. If I were you, I would repaint the skulls from scratch using the 3D base as reference. Right now, the character is rendered in a stylized way, while the skulls still look very 3D with only a color adjustment. Repainting them would help unify the visual style. As for the back view, I would probably go with a more neutral pose and avoid adding movement to the cape. A neutral pose usually communicates the design more clearly and makes it easier to read the shapes and costume elements. Hope this helps! | Artwod Feedback
