Yo! Great work here! Just a few details that I hope will help improve it. The first and most important: Don’t paint at such a small size! Compare the size of your character to the size of the canvas. I imagine that in order to paint, you had to zoom in a lot, which may have caused the image to become pixelated at some point, making the painting process more difficult. On the other hand: Increase the shadow contrast. Right now, the shadows are very subtle, which doesn’t help create a sense of volume and makes the forms appear flat. So, push the shadow contrast further and add shadows where they’re needed, such as on the mask and in the areas of the head that the mask is covering. By doing this, you’ll create a much stronger foundation to continue painting and refining further, adding bounce light, ambient occlusion, and more nuanced details. Hope this helps!
