I'm still pretty beginner when it comes to art. I used a reference for this pose but it still looks stiff/awkward (?) how to I make it a bit more like dynamic like someone's guard is kinda up?

please show me what i can improve
im very open minded and really want some criticism on basically anything :)

Struggling with the kimono for the adult version for her as I want it to be more combat but also be something you can wear to fancy events. Also want it fit her character more be something unique & memorable.

Need help with the form/proportions of the Upper torso.
How do I improve the form or proportions of the torso? I feel like something is off about the upper torso's that I'm drawing, I'm mainly just drawing a roundish sort of square for the base of the torso, and adding the chest over it, and just indicating the ribs.

Undecided
flats..

Background study (35 mins)

Street-Musician ,,Hero"
Overall i was pretty happy with my idea here - A Streen-Misician that repurposed his instruments to fight (As a Character for an Heroshooter). But something just feels off and i cant put my finger on it. I feel like some parts of the design make it look amature but I cant figure out what the concept needs to make it feel more cohesive. I purposly left the rendering a bit more rough since i want to practie putting out ideas faster.

oc sketch
i just want to know if the general anatomy of this sketch makes sense, i never draw full bodies and it seems like the torso and arms in particular look a bit iffy but i cant quite put my finger on it
