The style in the top reference has a lot of strong hard shapes that are gradually darkened in certain parts. The original had too many smaller bits of hair and strands of shadow, when they should be very thick and shapely. I also changed a bit about her face. Her teeth had a bit too much detail, and I gave her a bit of a stronger smile. With the eyes, they were a bit too close together. I really didnt change too much in that department honestly, its just hitting those last few details, and sitting back for a bit, and looking back at your work with more scrutiny, but not anger.
