Comic storyboard
Hi all, I’m trying to start working on a comic that has been in my head a while. I know I am far from ‘ready’ but gotta start somewhere so I’m starting basic layouts. This first panel is going for top down looking through the trees at a group training outside. 1. Does it feel correct if the viewer was a bird in on of the trees? 2. Any other notes are appreciated. Thanks!

I couldn't find way to put the scene on the darkness...once again a problem with light and shadows

Illustration feedback
Hi everyone! I hope you're doing well. I had a really hard time with this piece. I'm much more experienced with character art, so I challenged myself to create a full illustration. I have to admit that building a scene and making everything work together was much harder than I expected. I think the hardest part for me was rendering the environment, especially the lighting. Deciding what to leave out, what to treat as a lost edge, and where to add more detail. It all sounds simple in theory, but in practice it was much more challenging hahaha. If you have any feedback or critique, I'd really appreciate it. It would help me improve a lot. Thank you so much!
