The trick to make this work is to make sure you stack shapes on top of each other. I hope the sketch helps :)

I really struggle with perspective and anatomy in this type of drawing; I feel like the face is positioned a bit awkwardly—not to mention the hand and arm. I could use some advice. 🙏
