keep up the good work
Hello there! I missed this exercise! It’s nice seeing these again around here haha. Overall, the ellipse on some of the cylinders in the lower section is incorrect; the angle is off, which means the minor axis isn’t following the same perspective properly. For example, on #26 and #30, the ellipse is way too narrow when it should actually appear more rounded. You can keep this general rule in mind to determine whether an ellipse should look narrow or round: The more the cylinder faces the viewer, the rounder the ellipse will appear. As the cylinder rotates toward the sides (stopping to face the viewer directly), the ellipse becomes narrower. It’s the same logic used for ellipses in vertical cylinders: The closer the ellipse is to the horizon line, the narrower it becomes; the farther away it is, the rounder it appears. Whenever you’re unsure, draw a square plane on the front face of the cylinder. It’ll help you determine how round or narrow the ellipse should be and help maintain a more accurate angle. Hope this helps!
