I really like the flower behind their ear and the concept! The face looks androgynous, the design is mysterious. In terms of avoiding this next time, I'm sure you already thought of it: be more careful of the guidelines, but the guidelines are finicky themselves. My preferred method of studying facial anatomy is by Andrew Loomis, and on the website sketchfab you can find a 3D render of his method: Basic Planes of the Head (Andrew Loomis) by Velicsek Artistic Anatomy. You can turn it around and it's really good for studies. To take the most from this drawing, I would suggest you look at it compared to the Loomis head model I transposed on top of it, note down the differences and try again! Another good method of study is "reverse tracing". Drawing the head model, then overlaying your art on top of the references (if you primarily work traditionally, you can do that by putting a piece of paper onto the computer screen, or even the phone screen if the paper is thin enough!), noting the differences and then trying again. I would really suggest you give this concept another go, to study! And again, I really do like how you did the flower and the character idea, them being bald but decorating themselves with a flower really makes me wonder about the story behind them. | Artwod Feedback
