But don't be afraid to use darker shadows What I did is overlaying a dark color over the character and then use the eraser as a light source and then add extra things like darker shadows and lighter value • The bounce light is a 2nd light if you wanted to add more depth either it's a different color or from a different perspective That's it! This is my first time trying to work in black and white. Even though my drawing is simple, I’m struggling to create depth in the values.

This is super cool <3 I think something that might help is pushing darker gray for more depth. And maybe creating more shadow with grays. Your values are also incredibly good, creating depth tho I think shadows and light would help a lot. <3
