Hi, pretty good effort and your character is easily recognizable so well done there. Rather than asking if it looks good, you should instead ask yourself “does this look how I imagined?” I think you’re pretty close and there are just a few things that will help you. Proportionally it’s a little off. But this depends on how close to the original design you wanted to get? As he appears in the game, Sans is about 2 1/2 heads tall. His head is massive and is almost the same width as his torso. But studying the character you can get a good idea of where things should be located and how big they should be compared to the rest of his body. Once you understand the proportions then you need to break the figure down into basic shapes. When drawing a very stylised character it can be difficult to understand the forms, so you need to break it down into simple shapes that you can more easily draw. This will help you then draw the character at a different angle (like the 3/4 view) So to start with, I drew a circle for his entire head. Then I divided it in half and added the centerline of his face. For his torso I imagined it as a cylinder and then added smaller cylinders for his arms. His legs are essentially two more cylinders that flare out slightly from his body. Once I had the basic form it was then much easier to go in and clean it up and add details like the fur lined hood of his jacket and his slippers. None of what I’ve drawn is meant to suggest this is how you have to draw him. It’s up to you how you want to make him look and how angled or what perspective you want to draw him in. But understanding the simple forms will really help you achieve that. | Artwod Feedback
