Hiya ! I added stronger shadows by adding more visible planes to the head (you can used the asaro head to know where the planes are, there's also a light simulator on artstation by William Nguyen to help you !) Where's your main light source ? Is there a second light source ? (For example, outdoor the main light source would be the sun, the second would be the sky, creating a blueish light bouncing light) I'm not too sure what to do for the interior, I hope someone qualified can help you with that !

I really struggled with the frontal angle of the Mother. I think the girl somehow has volume, but the Mother is a bit flat. How do I work with these angles? Also, I feel like I could add more depth to the interior. Thank you!

Frieren sketch

Hi guys! This is my first time posting. This is a sketch of Frieren that's still a work in progress. I feel like a few things are off but I can't really tell. It could be the flow of the hair or something in the face? I feel like there isn't a real focal point and my eyes get lost while looking for long. Any general tips are greatly appreciated!!! Thanks

Really late for the July challenge but I thought I’d give it a try after practicing realism for a bit/long while (at the urging of a friend who studied animation). It has been an on and off practice with long breaks in-between because of COVID and then switching jobs up until this year I decided that I was going to draw again.

Unexpected visitor

I want the person on the left to exhibit fear. Mouth is giving me a hard time. other side of the face finally feels right but I expect it could be "shallower?". The rest of the perspective feels right I am just double checking my perspective and form before I proceed.
