Hey! Very strong illustration! I absolutely love the color palette and style you’ve established here! As for the composition, overall it looks solid, and I’d only suggest a few minor adjustments. I’d scale the image down slightly to avoid cutting off the right hand. Cropping limbs that way can feel awkward compositionally, so giving the figure a bit more breathing room would improve the presentation. I’d also adjust the size of some of the bats—especially the two on the right side. The middle one is currently creating a tangent with the bat in the upper corner, which can create unnecessary visual tension. Regarding the lighting: I honestly don’t have too much to critique here since this specific type of lighting isn’t my strongest area, but I do think a few tweaks could help strengthen the piece. For example: - Darken the character slightly overall - Especially around the neck area, since it currently appears to be receiving more moonlight than it realistically would Add subtle highlights/gloss in key areas such as: - The tips of the scissors -The forearm holding the scissors - The right side of the face - Areas near the arm with the closed hand Additionally, I’d lower the value of most of the bats so they feel farther away from the character, helping create stronger depth. (The exception would be the bat near the top, which can remain more visible.) Hope this helps!
