The eagle eye point of view, depending on how extreme it is, can make things look wrong because we are used to seeing things from our point of view. We have a tendency to straighten things up and use proportions that are more "normal". if you want to do this view, you have to get used to the distortion and just go for it. I did a very quick and messy sketch to show you what I mean, I hope it helps :)
