the hat reads kinda separate from the hand, maybe tuck the thumb over the brim and let two fingers wrap the underside so the grip and the pose feel connected.

This was supposed to be a pretty easy Luffy drawing but somehow the hands and hat came out terrible. The character pose feels awkward and the prop placement looks wrong. Would appreciate some anime feedback, especially on the hand anatomy. trying to learn from the mistakes and share my art progress as i keep doing these art workouts
