Hello there! I don't see a major issue with the lips themselves. I think the main problem is their placement. They're positioned a little too far from the nose, which creates the illusion that they're larger than the rest of the face. That said, you can also slightly adjust their proportions by making the lower lip a bit narrower while keeping the upper lip at a proportional width. I'd recommend studying the realistic structure of the lips (or any other facial feature) first, and then looking at how different artists simplify those forms.
