maybe keep the nose as one small wedge tied to the brow and chin center line first, then add only one side shadow so it stays simple without flattening the face
My Anime Nose Drawing Should Be Simple, But It Isn’t

I keep trying to draw/sketch a simple anime nose, but the shape comes out different every time. Sometimes it looks too flat and sometimes it changes the whole face. I’m trying to understand the basic anatomy and construction without adding too many details. I’m using pencil and would appreciate some feedback on what I should simplify or fix.
