You should try to use guidelines to help you construct a head better. Study anatomy of the human head can help you learn to exaggerate and caricaturize into anime heads better

Anime girl head anatomy
Artist's notes:
I’m trying to draw an anime girl head in side view but it never looks right. The forehead, nose and chin all feel like they’re in the wrong place. My construction and proportions probably need work. using pencil, what should i fix?

maybe the placement isnt the main thing. the side view reads ok, its more that the jaw and neck sit on one flat line so the chin loses depth. kinda helps to tuck the neck back a bit under the ear and let the chin come forward
