Basic 3D shapes and breaking the human form into a simple mannequin will help you improve far faster than learning the names of the muscles. This is one of the most consistent and wrong pieces of advice that new artists are given., “Study anatomy”. Anatomy is detail, and detail without structure is not worth your time or effort.
