You’re very close, though you are drawing parts of the face as though her head is straight and not at an angle. You see how the line on the reference goes down the center of the nose, lips, and chin, yet yours they are all slightly too far left? You can check with digital drawings by adjusting the opacity of the reference and placing over yours.

checkmate im aussie
This isn't for the june challenge or anything, but i drew these two chess-inspired characters. Since they're based around the knight piece, i wanted there to be a visual motif of three. Three individual shapes found in the nose steam, three splits in the knight's hair thingy, three segments in the handle, you get the point. I just feel like i could've done much more with this concept, or like it's too subtle. Any suggestions? Please let me know!
