Hey there! First of all, this already is a great portrait. The proportions are on point! At this stage it's almost purely about the shading and how it contributes to the form of the face. Off of that, I'd like to suggest just trying to shade in a way that expresses more form. A good example for this is the mouth area. Here, I tried to get closer to the actual shape of the mouth with adding more detailed forms underneath the lower lip. Same goes for the cheek bones and the nose.
