Hello there! You could sketch the shape of the eyebrows and emphasize the lower line a little more, while on the upper line you could draw a few individual eyebrow hairs to give it some sort of texture. Keep it up!

I’ve been trying to draw an anime girl face but the eyebrows always look too dark or thick. then when i make them lighter they basically disappear. I think my shape language and proportions are off. using ink, any advice?

maybe the darkness isnt the issue, its that the brow is one solid bar. try a thin tapered shape, thicker near the nose and thinning out past the eye, kept a bit shorter. then even light ink still reads because the shape is doing the work
