maybe the darkness isnt the issue, its that the brow is one solid bar. try a thin tapered shape, thicker near the nose and thinning out past the eye, kept a bit shorter. then even light ink still reads because the shape is doing the work

I’ve been trying to draw an anime girl face but the eyebrows always look too dark or thick. then when i make them lighter they basically disappear. I think my shape language and proportions are off. using ink, any advice?
