Hard Surface feedback, answered
- How do I get feedback on a hard surface design?
- Upload your design to the Community Hub and tag it “Hard Surface.” Other artists can leave written critique or a paintover correcting construction and perspective.
- What's the most common hard surface mistake people ask about here?
- Panel lines and details drawn on top of the silhouette rather than following the object's actual underlying construction, plus perspective drift on repeated elements like wheels or bolts.
- Do I need to know CAD or 3D modeling to post here?
- No! Feedback here is about drawing fundamentals: construction, perspective, and material rendering, whether you work traditionally, in 2D software, or in 3D.
