Hi. I'd say that contrast on this is little lacking. There should be more value on the light imo. Also the light shapes is not defined enough. Should be looking like cell-chading technique at first, only then try to smudge some edges (only some, not all, really depends on the form). Try to exaggerate the terminator. Also background makes big difference. Try choosing darker BG to make contrast with the flame and lit parts of the characters.
