Amazing, amazing! Very little I can say. Imho, you could make the impression a little stronger by just changing accents a little. Right now the left side of the face, which is in the shadow is appears to be drawn more precisely than the right. My instinct would make the lit one sharper, with shaper line and an accent or two like sharp brow or cheekbone and make the left side softer. Consistently, same with the crown. Make one spike on the right sharp and clear to stand out related to the others. But that's just my opinion. The scarf/hood is also very detailed and looks almost as important as the face. My eye starts jumping up and down in a loop, examining them both. The folds are wonderful but I would simplify them to support the face rather than compete in richness of detail. Last thing that is surely unintentional: the background strokes converge above the head in a triangle and appear to be an extension of the head. Change their angle or create uniform background without variations behind the head to support it and bring it forward. again - amazing portrait! | Artwod Feedback
