Hello ! If you can spot 2 parallel lines (like the doorframe) they always cross at the Horizon line. You can also check for horizontal surface : - If you see them from above -> your eyes are on top -> they are below the HL (in yellow here). - If you see them from below -> your eyes are under them -> you are above the HL (in orange here). I have just started the lesson on perspective guidelines, and I have noticed that my attempts at the exercises (e.g., 2 and 3) are different from the ones Antonio has done. I understand the solutions are not exhaustive, but as someone who deals with perfectionism, I instantly feel like I failed at the exercise since my answers didn’t match the instructor's. I am uncertain what to do about this. Does anyone have any advice

Hello Artwod community! This is my first post. Ive begun my art journey by trying to understand and draw what I am best at opposed to what I want to do first. This drawing focuses on 1st point perspective and is done with relatively basic shapes so I could understand how they come together in a 3d space. I love watching cartoons like my little Pony and My Life as a Teenage Robot, so I blended background styles to see what I could make with my Imagination. Any sort of constructive criticism will be very appreciative! I have been trying to hoan in my precision skills when drawing lines, as this was entirely done with my non dominant hand. If you have any good tips for practice, id love to hear it!

Don quijote polish

Hello! I have been trying to make a polished version of the character as a finished concept, but i don’t feel like it’s quite there yet. I tried giving the drawing some material separation and shadows. My main problema is the lighting. In a drawing meant for a concept art polished picture, i don’t know if this light is enough or if i have to add a stronger light source. I also wanted to ask for help with the construction. I often find myself making mistakes with the proportions or the prespective but i have been looking at this for so long that maybe i just can’t see them. As allways, if there is somethinig i missed that could be fixed, ley me know. Thanks!

Something feels off; I'm quite spotty with the hands. But I'm also a bit iffy with the feet. The shadow creature behind her has a rather stiff pose in comparison to the front character as well. Your feedback will be appreciated! :)

Character rendering and lighting

Hi, I am struggling to figure out how to shade my character and his clothes especially with the color black that I used for the jacket. I haven't really decided on a light source, but ideally it's coming from the left side of him. Considering the materials as well I wanted it to be a cloth like material for the jacket and regular jeans. I would appreciate any help and input on this thanks.
