Hello. I haven’t really been drawing properly for quite a while—about four years—and this is the only drawing I’m close to finishing right now. When I draw, I really love supernatural creatures and pirates.
I also struggled a lot with shading while drawing this. I realized that I don’t fully understand how light interacts with objects and that I couldn’t convey that through the materials. After a long time, I can now see where I went wrong when drawing anatomy, but shading is harder than I thought.
My goal is for people to see a slice of a living moment when they look at this drawing.
Right now, I’m drawing some pieces for my portfolio, so I really need your professional feedback.
Also, I studied fine arts in college, but I haven’t drawn in years, which is why my skills are where they are now.
