“the linework already has a nice base, i'd block the characters as simple shapes first and push the size difference before adding paint, that might help the anatomy settle too”

“idk if more lines help, maybe pick 2 or 3 thicker arcs that wrap the fist and quiet the rest so the haki reads as one force not scribbles”

“idk if stiff limbs need more detail, maybe bend one knee and swing the far arm out so the gear 5 stretch reads before you refine the hands”

“idk if every joint on the staff needs drawing first, maybe keep it one long stick about her height with a couple thick bands so the size reads next to her before the gadget bits”

“idk if more detail is the thing, maybe push one big silhouette change first like a taller head shape or quieter outfit so the red and green read more anime without filling every area the same”

“idk if more black is the fix, maybe keep the blue and darken just the outside edge, then remove a few inner lines so the eye stays the focal point.”

“maybe push the mouth and brow shapes a little farther to sell the emotion, then wrap the scarf in one clear S curve so it reads as a soft fold instead of a flat band.”

“idk if the blur is intentional, but blocking the figure into a clear dark silhouette first, then separating the hand and raised object with a lighter edge, might make the pose read better.”

“maybe block the head and shoulders as simple shapes first, then check the center line and eye line before cleaning the hair so the tilt and values read more clearly.”

“maybe block the head and neck as simple shapes first, then check the ear, face, and hair against that tilt before adding more texture so the proportions stay easier to read and the light side stays cl”

“maybe keep the hair in a few larger light and shadow shapes first, then add the smaller strands so the coloring and lighting read more clearly”

“idk if more detail will fix the awkward feel. maybe draw one soft curve from the head through the hips first, then hang both legs off hip balls so they share the same tilt. that usually plugs the tors”

“maybe the fix is before the eyes. on a turned head try a light center line down the face and one line across for the eye level, then place both eyes on that line. the far eye also gets a bit narrower ”

“maybe the elbow itself is fine, its more that the raised arm stays one thickness after the bend so it reads like a tube. try tapering the forearm a bit. the feet might sit better if you tilt them so w”

“maybe not a perspective thing so much. the eyes look flat mostly because both are drawn same width, the far one can squash a bit and sit tighter to the nose. also try curving the brow and eye line aro”

“the suit already reads as a vacuum hero. maybe a floor plane and a soft shadow would turn the purple void into a room without stealing him”

“those shows lean on big simple shapes. idk if fran needs a full redesign though, a rounder head and fewer small lines might already feel more cartoony”
