That is a cool scene. It looks really good. Love the silhouette, especially on the red background. It is a guess but perhaps too much texture everywhere is what is making it miss that "oomph". You could try to draw snow on the ground with less particles and have those only close to the focus points. You could also add subtle symbols to the horse.

I like the bottom and top halves of the drawing, but I feel it could have more "oomph" as a whole. The feeling of being flashbanged in the middle of quiet night walk. Also colors seem off, the wizard's coat is normally teal, but it looks muddy with red and black
