First of all great job! I like how your image has an epic story ! Maybe a few stuff that could improve the image are: -Being less regular with the grass in the foreground. -Showing where the light comes from more clearly. -I've also tried to connect the character with the tentacles. If they are his magic maybe a link between the two could be done. A good way to improve the tentacles would be to work on their shapes and gesture. -You could also add contrast in the middle. Here what I've done is far from perfect, I'm still getting used to Artwod tools but this is how I would approach it. And lets say it again, you've done a great job !
