Hey! The main issue I see here is the color design. Even though your values are working really well, relying on a single color range (purples) makes everything feel flat and without hierarchy. The skin loses a sense of naturalism because there’s no temperature variation; it ends up looking too cold and less believable. On top of that, the suit has very strong highlights and high saturation, which makes it compete directly with the face and weakens the focal point. The background also shares a very similar palette to the character, which reduces visual separation. What I tried to do was to introduce temperature contrast (warmer skin vs cooler environment), reduce the saturation of the suit (while keeping slight emphasis on areas like the chest and shoulders), lower the saturation in the background and concentrate the strongest contrast on the face. I also added a subtle atmospheric effect behind the head to help the silhouette stand out more. I’m not deeply familiar with the full workflow of going from values to color, but you can use blending modes like Overlay or Soft Light to establish a base, and then paint manually on top from there. Hope this helps! :)
