Hello, I like this drawing a lot, at this stage I don't have much to critique, execution is clear, story is redable, I see only two minor dlements I would correct:
The hopscotch decal on the floor should be contained and follow the size of the tiles, right now it breaks the realism being pasted so randomly.
The exterior AC unit in the right corner should hawve its pipes going into the wall, adn the round crate element looks now as a window, rather than hot air disposing tourbine crate.
Ather than that great drawing.
Maybe if you could share more story to the image, and what is your goal with it, we will be able to help.
Keep it up!
Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time to review my drawing and for the kind words!
I see what you mean about the hopscotch decal and the AC unit. Those are good points!
I don't have a specific story in mind yet. I just like using these two OCs of mine (the boy and the robot) in my background drawing exercises. I've always drawn them together, but this is the first time I've imagined them in a setting with more people around. I wanted the robot to look a little surprised and curious about all the people around them!
Thanks again for the feedback and encouragement. I really appreciate it!
I see, that is nice story and a challange.
In order to suggest that RObot is usrprised and courious I would focus more on interaction between him and boy.
Since the has no arms, he could have his head tilted, and focused on one charaacter let's say wolf and with only one line. the boy is standind behind him, playfully touching his head.
Or Robot is making a twisting movement with his body and head, trying to see what is behind him, as a Kid is squeezing his shoulder and pointing to the lino person behind him.
