Hey there! The character and the illustration overall look fantastic! Having two artificial light sources can definitely make finding a good balance a bit more challenging, but here’s the approach I’d take. Since both light sources are coming from the hands, I would group the backs of the hands, the lower body, and the central portion of the hat into one larger shadow mass. This immediately gives you stronger opportunities to push more dramatic lighting into, the center of the body, the beard and the face/head area Think about the light as coming primarily from below. Because of that the upper bridge of the nose would remain in shadow, the forehead would also be darker, and areas directly exposed to the light would naturally become much brighter. And here’s where it gets fun: On one side, you’d have purple tones from the flame in the right hand On the opposite side, you’d have cooler blue tones from the crystal light source Grouping lights and shadows this way will help create much stronger contrast and a more cohesive lighting design. A helpful rule here: Keep shadow areas relatively simple, and reserve your stronger detailing for the illuminated sections. This helps maintain readability while also making the lighting feel more intentional and dynamic. Hope this helps!
