You could try to change the shape of wings, like for example, some dragons has the frontal hands and wings like together, so you could experiment change the look of the wings.

Anglerfish Jungle Dragon
Artist's notes:
I wanted to create a dragon with a completely different story than the one you normally come up with first. I came up with the idea of a dragon luring its prey in with its tail, hiding in the undergrowth of the jungle. the look is still quite close to the “standard” dragon, so any idea of how to further push this is very welcome!
