I haven't done any rendering with color for a while so excuse my less than perfect attempt ^^; But considering your comment about being unsure how to render from here on out here are my suggestions: 1. Have a more direct or "dramatic" light source, that way you'll make the whole piece more dynamic and have an easier time rendering too! 2. Add more contrast. I noticed that your shadows are all soft and very similar to the base colors. Don't be afraid to give more "oomph" to the shadows! Contrast is your bestie 3. Mix up soft and hard edges in shadows! I used to have a similar issue in which I'd always blend my shadows and it always made my pieces muddy. Since I learned the difference between soft and hard edges in shadows my pieces became a lot more dynamic! I recommend Marco Bucci's videos on shadow and light if you want to learn more about that! I implemented all of those things in my paintover when adding the shadows which I only use the default csp g pen and a normal layer whose opacity I lowered a bit Hope this helps and that I explained everything well! ^^
Thank you so much, this is a great jumping off point for me to learn from!
