Hi! This isn’t the best example, but anyways! I firstly adjusted the general shape of the dress to try and line up with the figure more. When it comes to rendering clothes, it’s main key point is where the folds lay. The easiest way is to figure out where your tension points are, where the fabric is being pulled at. I marked in red the general tension points on your dress. With shading, a good way to think of it is like shading a cylinder, which I also put an example of! Use a multiply layer and nudge the color wheel a bit over to the left or right and slightly down after picking your base color to get a good shadow color.
