For the eye - there will be some space, showed it on the left side as well And for the lighting - I'd make it more dramatic to emphasize her expression. (that's just my take, feel free to explore different variations) A little storytelling would help to figure it out: Why she seems scared? is there someone(or some...thing) behind the frame? Maybe standing in the doorway? Wherever your imagination takes you :)

Unicorn Gundam - Painting only test

First post here; Tried my hand at painting the Unicorn gundam straight up without the sketching process, I was trying to test my abilities to see if I can paint stuff right off the bat; I liked the output, it was really fun figuring this out, but I feel like the rendering here is quite off eg; the golden head fins are much more saturated than the rest of the body. Any tips would help a lot!
